Three Day 2018 Christmas Celebration

A Traditional British Affair in our cosy Hunting Lodge

You’ll enjoy a warm welcome, friendly atmosphere coupled with superb food, a small dash of merry making and entertainment.

This year we will be celebrating with a traditional British Christmas, with delicious local produce and recipes from around the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Our three day package includes some light entertainment, designed to keep you active but not too busy, as we want you to relax and enjoy your time with us.

Our three day Christmas package starts early evening on Christmas Eve and comes to a close after breakfast on 27th December.

Our three day Christmas package takes care of all your meals, accommodation, activities and entertainment from dinner on the 24th December, up to breakfast on the 27th December.

Like a bit longer?
For guests who want a longer festive break and arrive earlier, why not add on one, two or three days to arrive from Friday 21st December? Or choose to stay on after Christmas – the same great price will apply. From just £75.50 DBB per person to include your accommodation, breakfast and a three course evening meal. Go on spoil yourself, it’s Christmas after all!

CHRISTMAS PACKAGE ITINERARY

Christmas Eve

Monday 24th December

Arrive at leisure - to relax and enjoy the local area. Check in to the hotel from 2pm onwards.

Join us in the Orangery at 6.30pm for pre-dinner drinks and cocktail nibbles Lydbrook Brass Band will play carols and prom classics around the Christmas tree before dinner -
served at 7.30pm.

After dinner, we will accompany you to midnight mass at a local church. A dram of whisky will await us on our return.

Christmas Day

Tuesday 25th December 

Wake up to a hearty traditional English breakfast.
Join Peter Ralph for a gentle walk through the Forest from 10am, returning for drinks and canapes at 12 noon followed by lunch at 12.30pm.

After lunch, retire to watch the Queen’s Speech, in our residents lounge. Here you will find board games, books and magazines to while away the rest of the afternoon. Later, if you have room, tea and traditional Christmas cake will be served.
A light evening buffet will be served at 8.00pm, followed by our Christmas quiz.

BOXING DAY

Wednesday 26th December 

Rise at your leisure and enjoy breakfast, before heading out for a stroll in the forest to work up an appetite for a tasty buffet lunch.
Dinner will be served at 7.30pm followed by a fun evening of dancing to our in house band who will play and sing an eclectic mix of music from the last 40 years.

There’s sure to be something to get everyone up and dancing.

Thursday 27th December

Sadly, it is now time for you to depart. Enjoy your breakfast before checking out by 10.30am or be tempted to stay with us to relax for a few more days.
